Check in and check out
You can check in from 2PM and check-out is at 11 AM, late check out may be available.

Pre-Payment
Full pre-payment on a credit or debit card is required at the time of booking.
Rooms cannot be transferred without prior notice. We are only able to check in guests who have booked and paid for the room online can produce a valid receipt of payment.

Your Reservation
When your booking is complete you’ll receive an email containing your confirmation number. Please bring this number with you when you check in together with your passport which we have to submit to the Guardia Civil.

If you have booked a room in your name but you do not plan to stay, please tell us the name of the new guest as soon as possible.

Changes, Cancellations and Non-arrivals
Sometimes things do change. If you do need to move the dates of a booking, please contact us on [email protected] / +34 642 65 86 94.  Changes are subject to availability of course, but we’ll do our best to help.

If, however you are less than two weeks from your arrival date it is no longer possible to change your booking. From then on, bookings are non-refundable. This means cancelling a booking, not arriving for a booked stay or the hotel’s denial of check-in to a person not accompanied by the person named in the booking will not result in a refund.

Price
You’ll always find the best rates on our website. These are per room, per night and include Value Added Tax at the prevailing rate.

Room Types
Please check the room type you have booked as we have rooms with 2 single beds and also rooms with 1 double bed

Damage
Just like you, we like things looking good. Therefore, we will charge your credit or debit card for any damage done to your room during your stay or for any items that are missing when you leave.

Pets Policy
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the resort. We have 3 very friendly dogs though so you can still maintain your puppy cuddle quota every day!

Smoking Policy
All our rooms at The Palms are non-smoking, there will be a cleaning fee of €150 if smoking has taken place in a room. The only area where smoking is permitted is in The Olive Bar

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

When you complete a contact form we will only email you to reply to the form or to answer questions from the form. We will not add your data to any other database unless you opted in for a newsletter on the form.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics and Hotjar Analytics. None of these give us personal information that we can link to you, but all of them track what you do online, even after you left our website so we can serve you advertisement at a later stage.

We don’t share your data with anyone else.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
